Okay the premise of this challenge is to take an image (kindly provided by Gerard in this case) and use any means available (employing no more than 2 dimensions) to modify and improve the original image.
This is a 2d compositing and post-production challenge so see how far you can push it with Photoshop, Painter, GIMP or any other 2d program at your disposal.
Votes should be given to the most interesting and furthest deviation from the original image.
