Hello there.
I've just started to using 3D Max so my question might be really stupid...
I just can't find the new feature of ViewCube and Stearing Wheel in my 3DMax.
Yes its certainly the version 9....

I just create another problem with the moving, coordinate arrows

What I mean is this:

as well as the rotation arrows are totally gone!

I tried to find the setting in the Customize option but I couldn't.

Oh oh I found one of my problems!
I had presses the X button and and the arrows gone. I pressed it now again and shown up back again!!

If anyone knows something about the ViewCube problem pls inform me.

Yep that one is the most common problem that new people have, X is the evil key haha. As for the other question I use Max 8 so I wouldn't know.

If your version of max has the crappy viewcube, right click on the viewport title>Configure...> then you will see the tab.
I incinerated my cube.

I cant find that damn viewcube option... :/
Its too strange... It supposed the version 9 has the option

Anw I can live without it..

well in 2009 version it's in View / Viewport configuration / ViewCube tab and Steering wheels tab

Are you talking about menu/Views?
Coz I don't see such category there! Only Viewport Background...

that was for max 2009, sorry looks like i don't know where it is in version 9, have you looked up in your manual, help files?
anyone using wheel and cube here? i just turn them off, they use my valuable viewport space

The 2009 version isn't the same with version 9?!

Yeah it's a few versions older. Personally I like version 9 better. But the the UVW Unwrap modifier has improved.
