Do you live in the Philippines? If so how do they celebrate Christmas? Is it heavily attached to Christianity or is it more of a Hallmark holiday?

I think what isaacg is asking is, when you celebrate Christmas do you put up a Christmas tree, have baby Jesus statues, blinky lights...decorations, etc

Ok so i went to wiki for my Filipino Christmas info. I also went to youtube to see people celebrating Christmas in the Philippines. It's less of a "hallmark holiday" there than it is in the United States. It seems to promote parties and family gatherings. But the "gifting" rule is still basically the same.

So here's what we can work with:
Christmas lights are strung about in festoons, as the tail of the Star of Bethlehem in Belens, in shapes like stars, Christmas trees, angels, and in a large variety of other ways, even going as far as draping the whole outside of the house in lights. Aside from Western decorations like Santa Claus, Christmas trees, tinsel, etc, the Philippines has its own ways of showing that it is the holidays. Star lanterns, called parol. The earliest parols were traditionally made from simple materials like bamboo sticks, Japanese rice paper (known as "papel de Hapon" ) or crepe paper, and a candle or coconut oil-lamp for illumination. And belen -- a creche or tableau representing the Nativity scene

I hate those things! Might be a fun project to do though. Maybe you could just have a bunch of people saying "merry christmas" or "Have a safe christmas" etc to the camera with some christmassy music in the background.Pretty basic I know, but it might look ok.

You could have a snow flake or decoration that looks really nice just rotating with Christmas music playing in the background.

I think isaacg is looking to be a Mod, I can't exactly say he is sucking up, ..you know ,.. like other people have been accused of doing.
He does offer a bunch of help, and goes out of his way to do so. Plus he is on here all the dang time.
All I'm sayin is, if the powers that be are looking for a new Moderator for V3,
isaacg has my vote!
