That totally depends on time of the day and the suns position. The Vray sun's system works pretty much like a real sun so the colours should be pretty precise in comparison to the real sun.

What colour is a sunset? well its sortoff orangey purpley reddish whitish blue. That said though its worth considering that mid day sunlight has a very high colour temperature in Kelvins so its often tinted slightly blue, blue being very very hot. light sources like lamps are often tinted orange or red because they have lower colour temperatures with the exception of florescent globes that are very slightly green in a practical sense.

Dude, that was a joke. you know its like asking what the RGB value of a rainbow is. The sun is all sorts of colours depending on the atmosphere. have you ever read or learnt about the physics of light? I highly recommend researching how light works because although we are simulating light in 3d it is invaluable to understand how it works. read this. [Link to en.wikipedia.org]

What John and Tyson said^^^...and...

Even with no atmospheric influence, as in outer space, I think the perceived color will depend on the intensity and distance.
So you need to find what looks right for what your doing.
White or blue being hottest and red being cooler.

I generally use 191 192 173 for midday sun. I got that number out of a lighting book and it works for me.

what everyone said and, the light emited from the sun goes trough all layers of atmosphere, ozon, and god knows what else so vray sun system is designed to simulate that, and the color of the light is greatly affected by sun position, weather, pollution and probably million other things.
If you're using a directional light then you should probably tweak the color to suite your needs for the scene, with that in mind, don't limit your self to the sun's "natural or true" yellowish collor, experiment a bit.
The secret of creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.
