Seems every major piece of software releases a new version every year now. Gotta give the subscribers something to look forward to. It's good to have new stuff regularly, but there haven't been any major updates and additions to any programs in the past few years. It's almost as if the rush to get something out every year is restricting what the developers can achive in that short amount of time.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
Agreed, if the spent 3 years they could come up with some major innovations, but the market says no. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
The only big change going on is this damn ribbon... why do all programs need to be changing over to this ribbon idea??
It is ok, I wouldn't talk to me either...
That'd be great, but it'd probably eat into their profits a fair bit. Who'd buy the new version when you can get the old version which are nearly as good for a reduced price? Most users don't need the latest and greatest tools, just the nuts and bolts of the program really.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
I actually prefer using CS 2 anything above that and it seems to run slower, start slower and generally be more of ram hog. does anyone else find that? It could just be my machine config or something. Speaking of new versions, anyone tried maya 2011 or max 2011 yet?
I'm enjoying my newly installed Photoshop CS3 now as the previous CS2 seemed to generate colouring issues for some unknown reason. Its fun, new and yet familiar, and a great way to stay in shape.

CS4 is horrible for that. I never got CS3 to run on windows 7. Now I just use CS2 for painting and CS4 for design. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
