Hi everyone,
I'm using Vray rendering for an animation that I have to do. I am wondering if anyone knows about a material that can make an object render as an alpha.
I have a load of bushes and trees that I need to render separately, so that later on I can add them in compositing to the site that I rendered earlier. The thing is that if I render them alone I'm going to have the roots and bottom halves that I don't need (making the bushes seem like they are hovering over the site).
Is there any advice on how I can go about this? My last resort is to render each section of the ground as a group with the corresponding bushes n trees, but that would take a lot of time to render and my deadline is on Tuesday.
What I'm looking for is a material or an object setting that can enable me to render a plane with the bushes and have the plane be an alpha that cuts the bottom halves of the bushes and trees...
Is this possible?
