I always wanted to revisit this video and give it the rendering and background detail it needs. Expect a rough looking video.

Dude, the animation of the mechanic hand is amazing, i´d like to see it with higher resolution.
Everything has some beauty but not everyone is able to see it (Confucius)

Why thank you. The hand was composed of linked polies. To animate the fingers i worked out what hand positions i wanted, in my head. I would arrange the fingers to match one position, then hit the "set key" button. Once i had all of the positions i needed for the fingers in the animation track, i could copy and paste them to take shape for any action i needed them to perform. I got the idea from how the morph target tool works.

You've got a good eye for interesting camera angles. It was potentially a difficult story to tell using only a couple of mechanical arms but you managed to pull it off so well done!

Yeah you've got a great way of telling a story, I think the music helped quite a bit too, good choices!! and nice work on the hands, the coloring... everything!
