great work, specially like the camera angle and that plant in lower-right corner.
One thing thou, you should probably randomize those three big palms, they are identical.

I wouldn't say the palms are identical, but they do need something to make them more unique, maybe the height?

Little bit of noise on the water could be good. Looks a little too glassy if you know what I mean.

some irregularity to the trees and water might give it more life other than that great work smile.gif

Looks great. I'd agree about the trees
The water looks good clear but very subtle large noise in
The bump would look better. Other than
That. It seems a little flat and bare on the
Side of the building. Maybe some detail
There would improve the realism.

yeah, I've seen the site on an iphone. Think maybe v3.5 might include a stripped down iphone interface.

Does that involve sneaking up on it while its in the showers? wink.gif

no I havent but I'm
looking into how to do it. the one biggest gripe I have always had with apple
is the lack of control they give you. they are so interested in security and anti-piracy and
all that shit that they end up making what should be very simple things impossible.
for example. theres no way to simply store files on the iphone, and you have to use itunes playlists
and sync them to be able to copy music to the thing. I'm sure there are ways to do it so it all works but what would happen if I wanted to use my laptop instead, I'd have to have an exact replica of all my playlists and apps etc.. on there so it didnt go and wipe the phone when it syncs. I may be wrong I've only had it a few days.

have you tried checking the "manually manage" option in iTunes?
it worked for my ipod....which means that i dont need exact replicas on other systems with itunes...
it wont sync it automatically, you just have to drag and drop whatever you need from the library into your device.....
you probably tried that already....

I didnt notice that, I havent had time to play with it really cos the first one arrived with a faulty microphone and I had to see a "mac genius" to get it replaced. they had
"not all heroes wear capes" on their t-shirts, what a crock. but the weekend is here and I will try the manually manage option. thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll start a thread in general chat for this. sorry to pollute your Beach resort thread with iphone stuffs. AZ smile.gif

These images make me long to be there stepping into the pool. partly due to the 33 degree heat but a good testament to a successful visualisation smile.gif

gorgeous render dude.....
only thing that's nagging me is its too perfect.... i don't know it's probably supposed to be like that...an idyllic paradise...which it is....but some small amount of realism might improve it......
i agree with tyson i would love to step into that pool smile.gif
i go swimming everyday, and it's pretty sunny all the time here, but the surface is never that totally reflective...so just tone that down a bit, and it'll be perfect!
great work all in all!

Looks great, but I agree with whoever said the surface of the pool needs to be a less smooth. Especially with the fairly choppy sea in the background.
