I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this on, but I was wondering if anyone had any good tutorials on boning characters?

For one of my classes I need to create a 3d character with animation, and it would be handy if I could get ahead with the boning stage. Some people in my class have had some experience with boning, but I havent had much so far, and dont want to mess it up at an early stage.

There's a very good one that comes with max. Go to your tutorials section>Character Animation>Character animation without biped>Creating and editing character bones.
