Nice model, I would recommend using a hdri map for your reflections it will take this image to a new level of realism.

Great work, a very clean and awesome looking model, apart from the issues you mentioned. What sort of trouble are you having with the lights? Does this reference help?

Ah, you mean the actual light not the model of the lights. Right. If you're using vray, I'd use a vray light material And then add a little glow in a comping program or your render effects panel. I"m not sure if you're using MR though, maybe just bump up the self illumination of the material on your light to 100.

i like the first one, nice material and windshield has more of that glassy look wich second image doesn't have. i would recomend that you put a hdri for reflections as Jamie said, it will give it more natural look, also your windshield looks little to black, you probably didn't model interior so you use it to cover it up, try making just a basic shape of the interior, only the things that would show up in render and put more transparency to windshield.
Anyhow, it's a great model, especially like the wheels grin.gif

Yeh, the first one. The highlights give it some nice contrast, the second one looks a bit flat. Awesome render though, and I agree, the wheels are really good.

Yep, you've nailed it great work. An extra highlight on the windscreen would add to it, but it looks great anyway.
