Hi, I have only created a character once before and I just edited the envelopes to rig my character. Of course, this made it messy and I wondered why this was. I read that you need to adjust the weight, but of what and how I don't know. I'm using the default skeleton biped and physique modifier. Help would be greatly appreciated grin.gif

Sorry this video and the ones after don't help. I know how to edit envelopes, but not the weights.

Thanks this helps a little at the end. I seem to be unable to select the troublesome vertices on the physique modifier stack. I don't know why this is happening :-s

I'd use skin instead of physique. you adjust vertex weights by checking the vertex button at the top of the skin modifier, selecting groups of vertices then assigning weight values for each bone so they blend together. Vertex weighting will override your envelopes so be aware. usually you need to completely remove the envelopes and weight the whole thing manually.
