I have been trying to find a way to convert .max to .obj or .3ds , but I have been told I need Max to do this (which I do not have). I am using Maya and have come across a wolf on [Link to www.turbosquid.com] that I would really like to use on a project I am working on.

Does anyone know a way to do this? If not, could someone please do me a huge favor and convert it for me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I found a solution to this here: [Link to max2obj.com]

I'm fairly certain only Max opens *.max files. Just download a demo, open up the file and export the object to an obj.

Demo can be found here:
