i think it'll be a reality much sooner than that....maybe even within 5 years
it's basically just a virtual plane with motion detection and pressure controls, along with a virtual interface to a 3d package (like, say, 3dsMax)
i could easily see this being accomplished very soon. hope i'll be in a position to use it
