Hi all...

When you select Line tool in 3ds max and work with it, and when you hold Shift and move line, it goes strictly horizontal, or strictly vertical depending on your movement..., and when you let Shift go it goes where you point your mouse....

my question is about Cut tool in Editable Poly. Is there any way to control Cut tool like the Line tool? so that you may choose by adding vertex's where you point your mouse and to have strictly horizontal or vertical movement?

alternative that I was working to get that effect is to put some shape in the back of the object I want to cut, and snap edges with cut tool... but it takes too much time


any help?
