Hey everyone, I'm back .... it's been ages since i posted here, actually it's been ages since i posted anywhere at all. Life's been a bit topsy turvy for a while. The whole unemployed, no where to live, getting screwed by centrelink and franticly searching for some kind of job.

Anyway just thought i would post something i am working on ... its a demon. He's in very early stages yet, and I'm thinking i will probably nugget his head up a bit (probably quite alot actually) also he kinda has this melancholy expression at the moment, i was attempting for a very neutral look but i haven't quit got there yet.

hey dude sorry to hear about your troubles. Did you loose your house?
I'm digging what you have so far. The bridge of the nose is standing out at me a bit. Other than that the obvious fine details ... but that will come later. Keep it up man!!

Welcome back Tim, good to see you're still around and doing some 3d. Model looks, good, maybe a bit more lip definition wouldn't go astray. Yeh, there's a bit of a Dave Grohl devil look to it.

Looking good. Any idea how far you are going to take this guy?
Hope you can sort out those problems with Centrelink and employment.

Like this giant fish in a bear suit. He would be horrible. Look at him go!!

Cheers people, yeah I wanna go completely nuts on this guy, once his base is done I'm gonna take him into zBrush or MudBox and sculpt him up a mass scars and leathery goodness for skin, I also wanna snap one one of his horns off give him some flaming dreadlocks (with cracked burnt skin around them), maybe a few spikes, some armour and a big big big hammer .... but I am open to suggestions as to what you guys think he should have

i'd go for a big axe instead of an hammer, and green glowing eyes. i love the flaming dreadlocks

I was tossing up between axe and hammer and decided on hammer. I want him to be more "Smash & Crash" than "Hack & Slash". Green eyes eh? not sure I'll be sure and give it a go (easy enough to change if it doesn't work) when i get to the eyes,... Cheers for your suggestions

he he, He sounds like all kinds of angry little fellow. Flaming dreadlocks should prove interesting. With a big big big hammer, I think he should be a really short demon with some serious size issues ;p

Started modeling in a bit of detail, any one know where to get some good body reference shots for free other than using my mates

Hmm... I don't think Ellen has quite got the anatomy I'm looking for, men's health might be a good idea cheers

I like it. the hammer sounds cool and the flaming dreads but the green eyes? That doesn't sound evil at all. Maybe red, orange, or black, but green? but its your call.
