Well, here is the result of a week and a half of work (On and Off of course). After many learning curves of my first attempts at VRay, I think I have finally achieved the look that I was going for. Thank you to everyone that commented on my W.I.P. Anyway, this scene was inspired by my recent 2nd honeymoon in The Dominican Republic.

I wanted the glasses to look more frosted.

Did you try raising the IOR to a more dense crystal like material?

I couldn't work out frosting either, for my bunker light I ended up just blasting heaps of light through it instead.

What's funny is I just dialed down the glossiness of refraction and the wine glass pick up the speckled pattern from the rolls in the middle of the table.... You know, what ever works..lol

I wanted to show the difference of what I created before and getting more educated on VRay over the past couple of days. The first image was rendered with Standard SpotLights, the second with VRay Lights.

Thanks Dave. I'm in the process of tweaking the ice cubes and the chair textures a little more to get some more realism. I'll post a final when I'm done.
