I'm not really sure where I am going with this. I was just bored and didn't have anything else in mind. I'm too excited thinking about all of the new parts that are coming in this week for me to build my dream computer..... Woohoo!!!!! I might be able to render the video I want to do by Christmas with some power behind it. Anyway, we'll see if this model develops into anything... Cheers to all.

I looked at a few different options, but I steered away from the "Extreme" Processor. $1100.00 for a processor was just two rich. Here are most of the items....

ASUS Maximus II Formula LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 Yorkfield 2.66GHz LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor

ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink

CORSAIR CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 Power Supply

(2)CORSAIR XMS2 DHX 4GB (2 x 2Gshades.gif 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX

(2)VisionTek 900244 Radeon HD 4870 512MB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - FOR CROSSFIRE SETUP

PLEXTOR 18X DVD±R Super Multi DVD Burner Black SATA Model PX-810SA/IBP-BL - OEM

(2)ViewSonic Graphic Series VG2230wm Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor Height & Tilt Adjustments

Antec Twelve Hundred Black ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail

(2)Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Can't Wait! I'll probably stick with Windows XP 64.

Great minds think alike...lol... I'm hoping that I made the right choice with the dual wide screen displays.. I love ViewSonic and are running Dual 19" screens now. The screen viewing are has the same height, but I will have 7" more of total width. I've built several computers over the past 12 years or so and believe it or not, have never set up a Raid Configuration. I'm thinking about it now. Running 8 Gig of memory and dual Cards with Crossfire in combination with the Core 2 Quad, show speed up some rendering times.

you'll love the wides, I have a 22" now and I cant wait to get a second.

I've never done RAID either, but the more I think about it I realize I would die if I lost all my stuff and 500GB is a lot of dvd's to burn to backup.

Plus the mirroring helps speedup load times too.

Does XP64 use all 8 gigs? I may have to increase mine then too, and then get a copy of xp64. I've got MCE at the moment so I only bother running 2 gigs.

And I cant wait to have my SLI cranking!

Are you talking about MaxAds? Coz that is very bloody cool. Although the 3dprevis.com stats aren't that impressive... wink.gif

What are impressions?

It sure is.

Thats because look at the date the ad was started. Its only early days yet.

Impressions are when it is loaded as part of the page, so essentially how many times the ad has been viewed.

Here compare to the other ads, you know how we only had two for such a long time? Take a look at the stats: (see image)

Well I guess we're only 1 click behind firefox. I wish it were true for the rest of the web as well smile.gif

Is this one of your scripting creations?

Yeah I made it, the guts of it have been sitting around since March. Its been recording the data of those two ads since then. I just never got around to making the reports to view the data.

I figure its time to test it out properly and then maybe start selling ad space.

Also, if you want to run more than one ad feel free to make up as many as you want and email 'em to me. I'll upload them and attach it to your account so you can view all your ads and see which ones work the best.

It would actually be a favour to me if you made some, so I can get as many ads into the system as possible.

525x75 pixels, dont bother rounding the corners, the script does itself.
