I was having difficulties using the physique modifier on my model that I decided to give skin a go. It well well, I edited the envelopes and was really pleased with my work. I then tried to test it by moving a limb and nothing happened. It appears that the mesh isn't affected by the bones, even though the skin modifier is on and all of the biped parts has been added to it. I'm sure I've missed something out here, but when I read tutorials I can't see what.

Are the envelopes engulfing the mesh, to where it's red? (no blue)
I'm sorry i know you already said you worked on them, but i have to ask.

edit:
What on your modifier stack's list?

Editable poly has different selection modes: vertex, segment, polygon...etc...
If any of these are selected your skin won't work (or only partially). I don't think this is your problem because most people who use uvw unwrap know to keep these unselected, but i have to ask just in case.

Lol you are right, this is what I've done. If you use the physique modifier this doesn't matter, but clearly it does with skin XD.gif

Thanks alot!

Yeh, it doesn't seem like it would be that simple. If you want you you can email the file to me and I can have a look, but it does seem like a weird problem.
