Convert to edit poly. Then your cylinder should have divisions allong it already. Click one of the edges and then hit the Loop button, this will select all the edges of that section, then scale them all to suit.Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.

Try starting off with your cylinder. Give it a few segments. Give it an "Edit Poly" modifier. Start reducing the size of the segments going out toward the tip. You should be able to give yourselve a nice rounded effect. Then throw a "Turbo Smooth" modifier on it.
