Niiiice, and welcome to the ranks of Wacom owners. Which one did you get? Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
For painting textures I find you get a much more natural coverage, having variable opacity and brush size on your pressure sensitive tablet. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Zbrush is pretty much made for a tablet. Every user interface feature seems to be designed with a tablet in mind. A wacom tablet has pressure sensitivity so every stroke is more realistic. you can paint subtle details like you were using a paint brush. If you have ever used traditional art mediums like real paint or even a pencil you will understand the need for a tablet. Buy one as soon as you can to get the most out of your digital art.....seriously!!.
I got the CTE-450. Probably the smallest they make, but it works great. Been years since I've had a tablet. I couldn't see doing ZBrush without it.
