I was just wondering what you guys would like to see come out of the internet in the future. Like where it could go and how it could be cooler than it is now. Things you like, things you hate etc. I'm doing a bit of research for the develop of this site and others and I was just wondering what you guys thought.

Whatever you do don't sell your soul and put those ads in where you hover over a word in the text and a link pops up. Those are the most annoying things ever created. Obviously there's a place for advertising on the internet, but I'm quite happy for that to be a banner at the top or side of the page and not right where I'm trying to read.

What I'd really like to see is better video compression (probably not something you'd have a lot of control over). Most of the vids on sites like youtube look crap, you can spend hundreds of hours rendering out an awesome animation only to post it online and have it look like a viewport preview. But that's just my opninion...

I'd like to see sites that you can download movies and shows for a flat fee, like cable tv or the movie channel. in good quality. I know there is iptv and such things but maybe if movie studios released films in that way at a lower quality possibly with in built ads we could see stuff we would otherwise download from pirate bay anyway.
theres probably lots of problems with that, namely the fact that movie studios wouldnt want sales to suffer at the box office nor would they want thier beautifull 4k frames to be reduced to 700pixels wide divx encoded crap. but maybe with better compression methods and faster more widely adopted bandwidth...

Yea I was kind of wondering why they don't just put tc on the net .. and have adds like they do now .. but you choose what you wanna watch .. it would be quite simple to pull off but I guess they don't wanna.

It's more fun to go to the movies anyway. However if there is a movie that you want to see but your wife/girfriend/boyfriend doesn't want to, a lot of people would end up missing it so maybe selling a decent quality version online would be a good idea. Maybe when internet speed increase a bit more it might become possible.

I had NetFlix for a time, it was pretty neat with their on-demand watching, I watched a TON of movies, and got my 1 DVD at-a-time in the mail also. But at $4.99 a month that was about 12 DVD's a month or so, and I'm broke right now, so it got canceled. hehe

I would like to see more places like Vimeo, with FULL or near full HD content. Kinda like YouTube but MUCH better quality, not Cell-phone quality. hehe

Also I like the idea of Google Chrome, it's a VERY fast and stable browser. But the security/content issues have me a bit worried.

Lets see more interactivity and LESS ADS! I despise ads during an online movie, I WILL NOT WATCH THEM! hehe well okie I will if I REALLY want to see it, but I don't like it!

I don't mind the small TEXT ads, like 60x40 pixels, but the pop-up follow you until you click ads are what I consider a virus hehe

oh wait this is supposed to be what we DO want, sorry got carried away on the DON'T wants....
