It does look good, your camera animation has improved out of sight. It's a lot faster and more snappy than some of the earlier animations you posted on this forum, which is a good thing. I'd suggest maybe spending a bit more time on the texture of the spaceship, maybe you could unwrap it and paint a nice texture in photshop, or even a multi/sub material might improve things a bit.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
Very true Steve, I need to go deeper on that one. Thanks for your constructive critism and positive feedback What i am mostly happy about isbeing able to use the lens flare for sun and motion blur.
Looks good, did you use a camera created with a camera tracking program? I recently downloaded VooDoo camera tracker and I'm planing on using it in a completely 3d scene.

Easier for some I suppose, just wanted to experiment. Some time ago I was watching the special features on a CG movie, can't remember which. They had a input device that allowed an actual camera man to shoot the action. I want to see if I can fake this.

yeah I think that could yield some nice natural camera motion, interesting idea. you can get a similar effect by using a motion capture controller on your camera target and use the mouse to control it.
Sorry for the late reply, I couldn't login for some reason
Yes, animating by hand goes easier. it takes some time, but oh well. learning improves greatly.
Also, yes, you can shoot your own material in real and then track it, and then export it as max script to a camera. this way, the camera material you shoot in real does all the work in Max
