This is a character I'm making for a game me and matt are making. The characters are going to be fantasy based. This is just a default human dude. Eventually he will be wielding a sword ... Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.

I may have an easy job for you for my 2d game. Need some ships modelled, enemies and stuff. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Just little 64x64 enemies, I'm thinkin of making it a community challenge, and the best ones I will use in the game, with full credit.
I will probably also need a fairly massive mothership to be modelled at somepoint. As the setting of the game is flying over the top of a big mothership whilst shooting down and dogfighting with squadrons of enemy fighters. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
ahh ok, a 2d shooter sort of thing? So the little ships are going to be 2d and the mothership will be 3d but used as a 2d background?[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
Its all going to be pre-rendered 3d. I have the player ship and one enemy done, but theyre pretty crap.
Dimensions of the mothership will probably be like 5000x3000, and I will slice it up into sections that are only processed when that slice is actually going to be displayed. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
I just got alpha mapping working now I can use TGA's with full transparency straight from max! Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Would it be possible to have animated ships? I've got a ship I made during the Mad Academy course that's got a spinny bit that looks pretty cool. Animated gifs support transparency don't they? Just a thought.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
I wrote the engine to use 32-bit tga series for animation. TGA's also have 8-bit transparency instead of 1-bit transparency like GIFs do. So you can have partial transparency and blend it.
I'll make a proper thread for this discussion, continue there. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
