Here's my reel, compressed to buggery so the file isn't too big. Please comment, critique, abuse, praise or disregard. I'd really like to know what you think my strongest and weakest skills are eg modelling, lighting, animation etc. Also, let me know if there's anyhting you think I should cut. Cheers

Dude, how many times have you suggested that people use youtube to host there videos? Wait a minute, are you just posing as a budding 3d artist while secretly working for youtube as a covert advertising tool?

ok, here it is finally. Personally I think it might be a touch long, but I'm not sure what to cut as it's all equally crap. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hey Gerard, its a good reel, maybe a bit too long, it could be snappier, I'd suggest working on the edit and culling down parts of each shot, don't linger on the stills as long and lose the text on each shot. I'd love to see a full animated flythrough of your ship, a little camera shake like its handheld, maybe even sound FX. You've got some good skill there my friend...

Actually I've cut it right down now, it's basically just a bunch of stills. I should probably post an update. The text on each shot was for a job application which required a detailed description of each piece on the reel. I guess it does seem quite stupid by itself. The names aren't exactly the most imaginative.
