I keep posting in the Help and Advice section - but it doesn't show up. So I will post it here:

I need a good tut site for beginners on 3D Studio Max 9. Thanks.

Yeah, there are still some bugs floating round here.
As for your request, have you tried the tutorials that come with max?

That's my best advice at this stage. The tutorials that come with max are pretty damn good as is the help file so make sure you put it to good use. If you have any specific questions makes sure to ask though.

Yeah the max tutorials are very good. They will get you modelling and rendering to begin with, and if theres anything else you need to know we can help too.

What renderer have you decided to use?

Also I'll take a look at the help/advice forum for that bug.

Thanks. I see that someone was at least able to move a topic to the help and advise area. About the renderer - I have no freakin' clue. I just push render. Any advise is accepted. Thanks moses.

Yeah, just learn the default renderer for now. It's fine to start with but as you get better you're probably going to want more features such as GI, caustics, glossy reflections etc. Then it'll be time to learn about a more advanced renderer. We suggest Vray wink.gif

Yeah - I used that stuff in Blender - I used indigo and yafray to achieve better renders.
