So I was just wondering what the people who have street view available in their country thought about the invasion of privacy issue. It's been a bit of a hot topic here in Australia for the last few days but I have to say it doesn't bother me all that much. I actually think it's pretty cool. That said, I drive a Hyundai Excel worth about $3000 (if that). If I had pictures of my $150,000 BMW parked in the driveway on the internet available for anyone to see I might be a bit worried. Any thoughts? [Link to www.3dprevis.com]
I haven't heard about this but if it is essentially google earth merging with google maps it isn't really an issue coz the google earth images are years out of date. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
I cant say I've heard the fuss either. That said I admit I do live in woop woop land out in the hills. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
It's been on the news and it was on Sunrise this morning and I've spoken to a few people who've mentioned the privacy thing. It's a bit more detailed than google earth, all the photos are taken at ground level so you can see everything. On my street you can actually see me backing into our driveway in one of the photos.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
I found out the other day, you can see my car parked in my mates driveway. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
That's why some people are against it. Just imagine hypothetically that your car wasn't in your mate's driveway but your girlfriend's and your wife did a little search on google maps and found out. You'd be in trouble.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
