Hello !!!

This is my introduction to this forum - which (after doing some mooching around for a ice 3d modelling / texturing and animation forum) seems to be the best one out there for active and helpful members.

My name is Daniel Edwards, I'm 22 and I am currently studying "Computing with AI" at Sussex University.

My main reason for joining this forum and getting into 3D modelling is a module which starts next year (October 2009) at university - "3D modelling" (which is using 3DS Max), so my aim is to learn the basics over summer (how to make models, how to texture etc) so that when the new year comes, I have a kind of headstart on the rest of the group, and dont have to spend the first few weeks getting to know the program, I can just get stuck in the with the assignment (well, thats the plan anyways)

I hope to upload some pictures of my work, and am really looking for lots of feedback and would like to also offer my help and oppinion to others who may need it
