i am trying to get rendering on a new computer i just built, installed max 9 and when i go to render a small avi file in this animation, it wont let me. after the first frame of the set, when it goes to save the file, it gives me this error: "Image I/O error. Internal error. error writing to the file path location."

when i try to apply a device, it says "no i/o handlers found"

so i dont know what to do!!!

if you have any advice at all about what this is, please let me know. thanks
