Working on a project, and the gizmo has gone! tried resetting, reboot, everything, its checked as on in prefs, what the devils going on! anyone else suffered this previously?!

hey Gustave, yeah I tried that and still had the same prob, so I ended up locating and deleting the 3dsmax.ini file in application data, apparently if there are any UI probs/glitches deleting the file fixes the prob, and in this instance, it worked! : )

Cool, thanks for posting the solution. Max does wierd stuff like that fairly regularly. Sometimes just restarting the program works, other times you need to reinstall. Glad you got it working though.
