I everybody sorry i have not been on in ages been on holiday and been busy with the diving course i have just finished.

Here is my issue what i dont seem to understand followed a tutorial on the top bit of the hammer and i cant seem to get the claws of the hammer straight and sharp instead of having them curled up, can anyone help me please thanks for your time in helping me thanks in advance.

hi, i am in desperate need of help with 3ds max, i NEED a car modeling, i have blueprints for it but i have no idea or experience of doing it sowas wondering if someone could help or even do it for me, it is a legend race car which i need in 3ds max.

Hey scott, can you show us some screenshots? It could be the way you are meshsmoothing or something like that.

Yeh, post some pics and we'll help. I'd tend to agree with varnished in thinking that it's got something to do with your smoothing. If you can, post a rendered image and a wireframe shot with without any smoothing on it.

Okay here is one picture with of the image and i will have to post the next image tomorrow cause i have not got the internet at home i am using my uncles and he has not got 3ds max



sometimes when i try to put a wireframe on my model that dosent work neith i will post the next image tomorrow thank for your replies

Try slightly chamfering the edges that you want to stay sharp and see what that does.

Varnished the chamfering edges worked but i have not posted the image cause the metal work was a little squished i am goingo to recreate the hammer head this topic is solved thanks
