I'm trying to make a loop of a stream of water. To do this I've used a plane, and a smoke material and just adjusted the x offset in material editor to make it stream in one direction. How can I get that material change to sync up with the loop? Can it be done?

I don't believe you can loop the offset. You can loop the following: Size, Iterations, Phase, Exponent and both colors, but I don't see a way for the offset. If you had a defuse map that was seamless, you could loop a single direction Axis of the Gizmo for the UVW Mapping modifier. That would make a smooth flow.

Thanks for the response. I figured it out on my own though through trail. I didn't know that you could make an avi a material. Once I found that out I used smoke with a dark blue and black color, I messed with all the scales and saved it. Put it into another animation and it loops automatically......I really appreciate the response though. YOU ROOOOOOCKKKKK!!!

No problem. AVI do come in handy some times in scenes. Good luck on your project.
