I just registered and wanted to say hi to everyone.

Well since these topics should introduce people and i'm the newest registered user, here is my story:

I'm Teacher Mechanical Engeneering at the Netherlands. I started using CAD systems about 9 years ago since it has a high value within technical development. Soon after, i found out that AutoCAD had multiple 'limited' 3D Design options. While scavaging the Internet my interest in 3D Design increased rapidly. I started using mechanical Desktop, And started @ 3DS max 4. Soon i expanded my collection of 3D Designing software and tried many programs to find out what my personal interests were. Now a few years later i created my 'optimal' usage. AutoCAD for 2D Technical drawings, Inventor for creating 3D technical parts, assemblies and blueprints and finaly (why i'm here) i use 3DS max to import my Inventor files and create a fantasy or realistic worlds for student interest enlargement.
Since 3DS Max doesn't stop there, i learned how to simulate fysics with Reactor. And started to try some character animation. 3DS Max has entered my life as a great hobby.
I have never really showed my hobby work yet, and my students advised me to search a forum, to expand my knowledge and perhaps help eachother out a bit.
