Hello =D I am Alex... or toe_fungi >.> I'm doing year 10 at the moment, and have a strong interest in many graphic arts. The past 2 years I've had an increasing interest in the art of 3d design. I started at school using Blender 3d. I acquired my basic knowledge of 3d here, and after realizing that the whole program was a bit fiddly for my level, I migrated to 3ds Max. I adore the program and have got the hang of many concepts that Max involves. I have got my head around some increasingly complex mesh modeling and have a fairly proficient knowledge of unwrapping and texturing. Recently I have been experimenting with some fancy lighting techniques, such as caustics and using HDRI's.
I've come to join the forum to try and gain some experience and knowledge from other people, as I have found: learning from someone face to face is definitely the easiest way to learn.
I hope to get heaps out of this site and I'm looking forward to sharing some works =D
