I downloaded a model from TurboSquid. It's in MAX format. But I want to import this object into another 3D app which only allows imports of .3DS.

I do not have a copy of 3D Studio MAX.

Anybody know of any quick fixes?

OR.... would anybody be available to convert it for me? The file size is tiny. 250k or something.

select your object, then go to FILE Menu and hit export, then select a file extension you want on Save file type as then provide a file name then hit Save
