I created the shape that I want out of spline and converted it into a Nurbs surface, but I can't have get the sides of it to be 'capped'. I could just extrude the original spline and change it to an editable poly, but then I'm left with tons of vertices and need to be able to modify this original shape in 3 dimensions. Also, I'm not sure how to post a screen shot, but I do have one.

I've never really taken the time either. Haven't had a reason to explore it.
