Hi All,

It's my first time in these forums so be gentle ;P

I am currently trying to ad more detail to a spaceship. It has a quite complex and detailed texture and I would like to use it as a "guide" to creating all the drawn details in 3d. I have Unwrapped the model and it looks well. All I need to do is start to extrude and bool the details. However, the textur (although in med-large resolution) looks VERY blured on the model when viewed in the 4-window layout in 3ds Max and all the details on the ship's body are blured to a point where I cant see them grin.gif How do I increase the "preview" resolution to see it better ?
I would be very gratefull for help!

Thanks!
darek

Hey Darek, I found how to fix this! If you go to customization>preferences>viewports>configure display driver and set the download bitmap texture size to best fit(highest quality) then it looks great There are also options to show it as 128, 256, 512 and 1024 aswell. Default is 256 I think.

Hope it works!,

John
