do the absolutley need to be connected or can you fake it? I think I just faked it in mine. In Wings there was a tool called Bridge. But I dont think it does the same thing in max. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.

i use editable mesh becasue i dont really know the difference between only thing i know is that there is like a line down the middle of a polgon in editable mesh but you dont see it because its invisble.

Yeah I'm not entirely sure of the difference. I just use Poly because it behaves the same as wings did. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
i will have to give editable poly a bash cause there is a lot more things you can use in there as well.

Yep, that's why you should use editable poly. If you really want to join them up, you'll have to cut the appropriate holes and then use the bridge tool. But as the otter said you could just fake it. Are you using and meshsmoothing?[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
