how can i put an avi file on a plane?

It's really just as simple as choosing your avi as the diffuse material and making self illumination 100. You can do it with vray light material too, I'll post some more pics showing vray options later.
I realize the pics below may not be necessary but......

I didn't know you could use avi files, I just used an image stream. Thats heaps easier.
