if i use flash to do it, those graphics still consider as 3D? Another question, i user Poser 7.0 to create 3D modeling and then import to 3Ds max to animate it, is it works? How about i tell you the whole story, i need to create a system which call 3D dancing class, the system able to let user customize their own character, choose the type of dance, and there are some play button, slow motion button, stop button, forward button and etc. The main function is was like if the user have create a character who is fat, then the dancing move which the character perform will different compare with other 3D character. Can u understand what i trying to say?
Yes, and it sounds very complicated and impossible to do in max alone. You could create and animate your own models in max or you could animate poser models in max. Thats about it though, I'm not sure how you'd do the other stuff. Someone else might be able to help.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
Now i plan to use Poser to create and animate the 3D modeling stuff, and put it in flash to control it. It is good way to do it....? But the system will like a database type of system, just click and play the movie clips, aiz...it's not enough to fulfill the requirement. Anyone can help me!!!!!
Well, thats it, even if you had a 3d engine with realtime characters with different animations for each body type (fat tall etc..) You would still need all those assets to be put together somehow. You would need animations for every type of dance style and have some serious programming skills to pull it off. Max is just a tool in the process of creating an interactive experience, theres no output of interactive content, thats all about additional software which has to be written or outputted from other software like flash.
An option like flash means you could do it without knowing how to write your own code and knowing how to animate and create the graphics might be enough to make a viable game, but flash is no walk in the park and max isn't either, unless you have a firm game plan its gonna be hit and miss.
whats the project for, is it for a job?
And even if you use flash, you will still need to know how to code some serious ActionScript. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
The project is for my final year project for college so regret that i have figure out a tough idea for myself. For u guys opinion is so useful to me because the software that i really know to use is flash compare with other and create some 3D stuff is the first time for me, is tat any site or sample for me that similar with my project? I mean the animation for 3D model dancing....i saw the online game super dance online, is it really though to create that out? The thing i need is some useful sample....
Like I say, a mocapped biped is a few clicks away but what you are suggesting will need more than just pre existing mocap files. you will need to animate each type of dance for each body type which means manually animating everything. If I were you I would simplify your idea and make something good within your current skill level.
Yeah I think it would be better to produce a simpler project and have it more refined, because what you have chosen involves a wide variety of skills to master. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Agreed. Unless you're super awesome at learning advanced aspects of new software really quickly, you might be setting yourself up to fail.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
