I am having the worst difficulty with running max in Parallels. everything seems to be in working order except for the work screens themselves. they are generally either black or show the desktop. How can I fix this glitch? Please help

is it a problem with the DX or GL drivers? Have you tried switching the viewport mode to a different one, eg. if you're running directx try opengl or software rendering.
