I really like it! Good detail and stuff. Will look cool later, I'm sure of that. Can you give us a total shot maybe? Like the one you did as the first render, I loved that camera position.

Great job!

Looks great so far. The mirror looks more melted than broken though, Is that done with materials or did you model it?

looks good man, but some improvements:
1) the checkboard patterns on the walls don't really go with anything in the scene. i don't know if you've just put that for testing purposes.
2) i know this is supposed to be a dark, gloomy scene, but i sort of liked that light from the window in your previous thread. it gave it an eerie touch.
3) the concept is a little out of sorts. why is there a police cordon in a stairwell? that skull doesn't explain much... the ground seems to be soil, with plants, how is that indoors? if you're going for a surreal effect, you'll need to flesh out the concept a bit more maybe.

its just a wip, probably has shitloads more to tweak and add and tweak more lol
-1- Yup, testing purposes/mapping
-2- Yeah, need to tweak that a tad bit more, actually I overexposed the sky map to get the clouds as an artifacts on thr ground, was just a trick that caught my eye when i accidenlty did it somewhere else haha
-3- Its kinda a crime scene at an old house of a really old interior decorator.. he never gets down of his house, always stays upstairs in a dim red light counting his last days.. the ground floor has almost been turned into a very shallow swamp thingy, and the skull is cuz u suggested to add skeletons etc, i didnt have a whole skeleton modelled so thought ild just add the skull LOL, still ill break it and submerge it a bit into the mudd and shit.. but you get the point, gonna work on it tomorrow grin.gif
thanx alot for the feedback homie!
this would be end of today's work - [Link to i42.tinypic.com]

no problem man.
the skull and crime scene etc are cool, what i meant was the person viewing this picture should be able to figure some part of the story without you having to explain.... i see a couple of newspapers (?) on the ground...maybe you could arrange the shot so that the viewer is able to read some part of the headline, which gives him/her an idea of what happened there.
or something less obvious than that.
anyways, keep working on it! it's coming along well

It's looking pretty good. I think the grass is a bit too upright, long blades like that would ususally be bending down under their own weight. Might be a good idea at model some detail into the ground as well.
