looks good, maybe little more illumination inside, other than that it looks really good. Like the way you set up background image and mask unwanted parts with a wall

Thanks altopais for the suggestion.... yeah.... i too thought abt lighting the interior as it looks somewhat dark. Well, in the next image i'll do the changes.

Welcome back! Your renders look good, but it probably needs a bit more light and a bit less reflection. Are you using vray? If you are, just turn the glossy relfections down to .7 or .8.

The image you are using for the external scene looks strange, it looks like this persons kitchen is sitting on the edge of a road?! The interior is good, but could use some bounced light.

Good to have you back!

Everybody has made some good point's so far.
I think you need to pay attention to scale and proportion. For example, consider how tall a person would have to be for the counter top to be at a usable height, then compare that person to the rest of the room.

Counter tops are generally about pelvis high to a person. Now imagine a person standing in front of the counter. I could be wrong, but I think that person is going to look very big for that room. This may not be the problem at all, I'm just not getting a sense of scale.

Just for reference, You could create a biped and make it's pelvis come to just below the top of the counter.

It's hard to explain, does anyone else see what I mean?

Yeah its very easy to forget about how things scale in relation to a human. What i usually do is create a box at 1.5m representing a human then all my doors tables and chairs etc.. get scaled so he can fit. It helps alot to model to scale for anything architectural.
