Well here it is, all finished and done. It's taken me a while but I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out. The only changes I might make would be a basic interior so I can add some refraction to the windows but that would be about it.

Seems like I can't upload images just yet. I'll keep trying...

There we go.

Too bloody long. smile.gif

On and off since mid April. Thought I had it nearly done about a month ago until I posted it on ozvr4.com for a bit of feedback from those who know Legnums the best. They pointed out 1 or 20 things that needed to be changed so I spent another 4 weeks making lots of little tweaks before I could put some materials on it. The thread's here if anyone's interested...

It's getting towards the 2million mark. There's a lot of detail in the tyres.

I'll have to get round to making it at some stage. It would complete it nicely.

I did start a scene a while back, but it got put to the background when I started the pool challenge and again since I've been trying to learn maya. I'll try and get around to finishing it one day.

It does have reflections but I could never get them looking quite right. It might be that there isn't anything interesting to reflect.

put phantom lights in.. you know.. the ones that dont affect anything else but the windows...

or... [Link to www.3dm3.com]

that could help too.. or you can imitate a real studio lighting environment,

Freaky. That's the exact tutorial I used to set up the lighting.

LOL! well.. it tends to happen.. it might not even be the reflections.. It just might be that you have a mat object instaid of a glass mat... I mean.. is the interior modeled?.. bc a seethrough window (even if it's a little) can help out.. I would jst model the seats and the dash.. jst to make smthing appear.. and im sure that will punch it up some more.

I never did the interior, again it's something I'd like to do down the track if I get some time. Not sure if you've checked out the animation wip section of the site but there's also a little movie there that I'd like to complete one day as well. So much to do smile.gif
