I'm working on a face using the fast skin shader of course.

Here is the basic skin. I wanna add glossy lips..like at the bottom..for example purpose i just took MR'S car paint Shader.
Now if I use Blend to mix both Shaders, Skin and CarPaint it seems that the SSS efeect dissapears...

Not really sure about this one. Might be a good idea to try the composite material and then much around with the blending types - A,S and M. A is additive, S is subtractive and M is multiply. I'm not sure if any will work but it can't hurt to try.

In Max you can't use mental ray sss with blend material succesfully. I believe its possible in Maya due to the node based editor but in max its probably better to try and use maps in the single SSS material to get shiny lips etc.. To say there are alot of mappable parameters in the mental ray fast skin shader is a huge understatement. All I can suggest is that you experiment with the ones that effect specularity, shinyness and reflection and see what happens. You'll need a couple of good colour maps too.
