Hi!

I've been modelling this old man, and started out creating a box with pretty few segs to make the modelling easyer and less computerpower reliant. I used the MeshSmooth modifier and now the basic modelling of the character is finished.

Problem is: The MeshSmooth modifier has dissapeared, but the character is still in "MeshSmooth mode". I wonder if there is some way I could get back to the way it was, or if there are some alternative methods to reduce the segs, and add a new MeshSmooth modifier? smile.gif

If you accidentally collapsed the modifier stack you can't really remove detail anymore. its either re model the shape, find a previous save file before the stack was collpased or manually reduce the detail by selecting edge rings (editable poly) and collapsing them (ctrl+alt+delete) one by one.

Like Tyson said, you need to find an older save, try looking in autobackup folder if you don't have your own save.
