Hi,
I am changing a previous model of a horse into a zebra (so i do not have to re-skin) so i took the original model, deleted all modifiers and split in half so i could use the symmetry modifier to keep it symmetrical. I finished making all my changes lined up my symmetry mirror and collapsed the model.
Now it has the exact same number of verticies, has not been scaled or changed in any other way except for moving verticies however when i load it in to the morph slot of the original model and use the spinner to apply morph it turns the mesh inside out and all the verticies go haywire.

can anyone help me with this at all please (tight deadline)
i have also tried resetting the xform but have now run out of ideas

Thank you
K

This method 100% wont work.

Morph target requires the exact same mesh. When you did the split and symmetry the mesh would have got reindexed and given different vert numbers.

If it's got exactly the same number of vertices you should be able to use this script to reorder the vertices to match the original model:

I've used it before, it can be a bit tricky but it does work.

Yeah, I needed it for my devil juice project. It's very handy.
