anyway...i need the spotlight to move on the spline/path when i drag the x axis or y ...it's that possible ? remember,i don't want to animate the moving ...

thats a bit unclear, I'm not sure of your goal. why do you have a light on a spline path if you don't want to animate it? can't you just place the light where you need it and use a target spotlight to angle it the way you want?.

Oh ok I get ya. What I do is press Alt+right click and choose a reference coordinate system. in this case Local space.

You can also change this on the main toolbar. Local lets you move rotate and scale your object on its own local axis. instead of using the world x,y,z as a reference. you can also do things like pick another object as a reference coordinate system.

As a rule you need to work from left to right through the tools to set your coordinate system and the active centre for the transforms to use.
otherwise if you were in in the move tool and set the ref coordinates to local then went to rotate the object it would snap back to whatever rotate was set to last. so.

On the tool bar.

1. select the transform such as "move"
2. then set your reference coordinate system such as "local"
3. then set your coordinate centre such as "use pivot point centre"
