i've modelled my 1st car in 3ds max...It's the Audi A4.... however..the headlights and rear lights r yet to be modelled.....well u can post ur comments on it..... here is the image---
It's a good start, much better than my first attempt at a car, which I abandoned due to it's genreal crapness.
For starters you might want to just whack a shell modifier on there to give it a bit of thickness. I'd put the outer amount to 0, just thicken it inwards. Then you can start to add more detail, eg door handles, locks, indicators etc. Is there and smoothing on it? It looks like there's a bit of pinching between the rear and sinde windows that needs to be straightened out and there are also some gaps that you should close up on the side skirts and rear bumper.
hmmmm...thanx ....yaa i'm modelling the handles....well... i haven't made the front numberplate and engine yet.... it's yet to be made...that's why it's looking empty there...
what does this shell modifier do??
Just press you print screen button then open up your image editing program and paste it in there. Then you can crop it and save it out to a jpg.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]

Good stuff though, keep at it.
