Looking good. The top looks a little squared off. One great thing about items like this, is that you will be able to use them in future scenes.

You should try and light and texture it correctly so all you have to do is merge it into other scenes and it's all ready to go.

Looking good.
I couldn't help but notice the time gap between these two updates. It's obvious you know what you're doing, so i'm not going to question that at all! But... I have a burning desire in to create art in 3d. And I have fun when i use max.
Are you having fun doing 3dsmax? 2 months for a 2% update of a 3d model tells me you're not having fun. I feel like im out of line by saying that, so know that i want you to have fun making and posting 3d work.
If you don't like the lamp post, make a crazy robot! Or an octopus! Or a monkey/skyscraper/motorboat monster!

actually, i stopped with the lamp post because i didn't have any time to work on something that i don't actually need....i have a mod that i work on. Other projects that i've stopped were due to limitations based on either the program i was using or the pictures i was using as a reference
