Well, I used to use 3DS 4 or something, way back in the day. But, just the basics.

Anyways, I completely forgot everything. I'm looking into working with the text spline. Why is it that by default, it's the outline of the text and not solid? Also, why is it when I add the bevel modifier that it becomes 2d?

You have to convert to edit poly. Is this what you came to?

or just apply extrude modifier to text splines

..or bevel modifier so you can also have.. well bevels.. smile.gif

i prefer extruding than manually chamfering the edges, that way you get more control.
